Define the commercial objective
- Describe the audience, sector, geography and business outcome you want the partnership to support.
- Identify the exhibition, decision maker, proposed budget range and approval timing.
Assess the proposed inventory
- Request specific placements, dimensions, channels, quantities and timing.
- Clarify artwork requirements, production responsibilities and approval deadlines.
- Discuss exclusivity, hospitality and other benefits only when they are explicitly offered.
Document the agreement
- Review written deliverables, costs, payment terms and cancellation conditions.
- Assign responsibility for content, production, approvals and event delivery.
- Do not assume visitor totals, media coverage, sales or commercial returns are guaranteed.
Agree on evidence
- Specify the reporting and delivery evidence expected for each agreed placement.
- Separate documented exposure from sales attribution and other commercial outcomes.
- Confirm a named contact for changes and post-event follow-up.
